History
The Wedding Chapel was built in Jefferson County in 1910 and was the meeting place for the Wacissa Methodist Church.
It was acquired by donation, moved and renovated, including the addition of a
Presbyterian (Celtic) cross atop the bell tower.
It served as the meeting place for Christ Presbyterian Church.
The first worship service was held in The Wedding Chapel on July 1, 1990.
The church congregation outgrew The Wedding Chapel
space and the first service in the newly built Christ Presbyterian Church sanctuary
was held on September 11, 1994.
